Cookie Policy.

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO); for any privacy-related matter please write to the email address above.

2. Personal data processed

  • Contact form — name, email address, company (optional) and message text, plus the consent given to this policy.
  • Direct contact — data voluntarily transmitted by email, phone or WhatsApp (email address, phone number, content of the communication).
  • Newsletter — email addresses collected through the Mailchimp sign-up form linked in the footer (managed directly by Mailchimp, see their privacy policy).
  • Technical navigation data — data required for the site to function (e.g. IP address, user-agent), collected automatically by the hosting server.

The site requires no registration, has no members' area and does not collect data from minors.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Responding to wholesale enquiries, press and collaboration requests — legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Accounting and tax obligations connected to any contractual relationship — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Processing methods

Data is processed with IT tools and appropriate technical and organisational security measures. No profiling and no automated decision-making is carried out. Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Contact enquiry data is kept for 24 months from the last contact, then deleted. Data connected to contractual relationships is kept for 10 years as required by Italian tax law.

6. Recipients

  • FormSubmit.co — service that receives and forwards contact form emails (data processed on servers with standard contractual clauses).
  • Mailchimp — newsletter platform, for the mailing list only.
  • Aruba S.p.A. — hosting and email provider (servers in Italy / EU).

An up-to-date list of any data processors is available from the controller upon request.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise the rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be sent to info@fiverjeans.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority, garanteprivacy.it).

8. Cookies

This site uses technical cookies only, necessary for the operation of the pages and of the contact form. There are no profiling cookies, third-party analytics or advertising trackers. The contact form is handled by FormSubmit.co, which may set technical cookies essential to receiving the message; disabling technical cookies in your browser may prevent the form from working correctly. The newsletter link leads to Mailchimp's own sign-up page, where Mailchimp's cookie policy applies.

This notice may be updated. The current version is always published on this page.
